THANK YOU TO EVERYONE IN THIS FORUM! I got my Passport with TRV and Work Permit Authorization today. I have a few questions on the next steps, please help me:

1. I am about to book my tickets. Please advice if I have to book a one way or return also? in the later case, If the border officer (BO) asks for a return ticket, will the date on this ticket have any impact on my WP?
2. What will be the general kind of questions at the PoE?
3. Should I show the proof of a place to stay? and by all means should this be a Hotel? coz I have my friend's friend staying close by, and I am planning to stay with him, atleast for some time!
4. Will they bait us with questions like, "are you going to apply for PR?" or "Why dont you apply for PR?" etc in the PoE and finally say that "you dint convince the officer that you will leave at the end of assignment, so go home now"?? - This might sound like some PoE phobia that I have! Sad(
5. Please also provide me tips for better planning on my Entry! I am planning to enter Canada sometime in Oct 09.

Your help is appreciated!

1.  You don't need a return ticket
2.  They may ask you about your work in Canada.  And they MAY call your employer in Canada to verify that your contract is still valid.  They are doing this a lot these days.
3.  Possibly but doubtful.  Just be honest.  Have the address of your friends with you to show them if they ask.
4.  Doubtful
5.  Bring with you a copy of your contract with your employer, the authorization letter from the Embassy, and a complete copy of your original application package you sent to the embassy.
