HELP ON MAKING DD FOR PR FEE

HI Friends,

I intend to apply for PR under FSW category and am required to pay $1400 by DD. My bank at India  (HDFC Bank) has refused to make the DD for canada quoting a RBI rule which says that The application needs to be attested by a consultancy. Is it true?? I am planning to apply directly to CIC and not through any agent. Please suggest.

No it is not true.  Either find a bank that knows what it is doing or pay by credit card.
