Normally visitors ask for a 6-8 weeks visit although at the POE, officers usually grant 6 months allowable visit. She should be able to display as much proof of "ties" to country of origin. You can give her an invitation in the form of an undertaking (notarized), providing board and lodging, medicals/fare back home when necessary. Check the country specific forms/documents to submit with the application.
