Hello,

My work permit will expire in 13 days and I'm a Manitoba provincial nominee approved applicant. Nominee programs needs my employer to sign on "Worker Recruitment and Protection Act" (WRAPA) form before issuing me a certificate for extending my work permit and I learned that they have outstanding issues with employment standards that maybe can't be dealt immediately. These issues prevent them to sign my employer on wrapa. If they miss this date what would happen?  Because this is something that has nothing to do with me , I don't want to lose my status because of this. Can I continue working if this date is passed and apply to restore my status afterwards. Do you think I should see an immigration lawyer for this ?
