Hello friends,

I was wandering if anyone could help me with some questions I have. I applied for PR as a Common Law Partner in Canada just under two months ago. Though we are not due to hear about her Application to Sponsor for a few months, my 6 months in Canada as a visitor is due to expire in November (I'm from the UK). So, I have started to apply for an extension using form IMM1249. I spoke to the CIC, they were very helpful, particularly regarding not needing a return flight and using my Common-Law as my support whilst here. However, I still have a few standing questions regarding filling out the paperwork.

1. My family members are not joining me in Canada, and remaining in the UK. Do I need to still fill the information for them in?
2. My Common-Law Partner is Canadian, and I live with her here in Ontario. Do I still need to include her in the family section? I was going to get her to write a letter proving her income as my support and explaining our situation.

Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks guys,
