Hi Guys,

Really appreciate the work all you seniors are doing in helping potential immigrants like us. Now getting down to business. I am TV producer at a relatively large news channel here in Pakistan . for sake of clarification , i am a sports producer. i have been employed here for the past 4 plus years . now if i want to utilize this specific immigrant scheme(i.e. self employment program) to file in my case , how do i need to go about it and what exactly do i need . Also, do i even qualify through this program , since i have never been self-employed , but my skill set would enable me to be self employed when i immigrate to canada.

thanking in advance

You need to have already been successfully self-employed.  To say that you "could be" self-employed won't suffice.

just make up papers like everyone else. I have seen scores immigrate with made up papers. If I did it I would've been Canadian by now.

This category is reserved for artists, competitive athletes and farmers, so it may not be appropriate for you from what you have indicated.

[/color]If you make up papers like 'ihabkal' has advised, please be aware that is fraud!

Ignore this extremely bad advice from this extremely uninformed person.

If they find the slightest indication of fraud (and it's very easy to look these days with everything on the internet), you're locked out of Canada forever.  I had to provide additional information on something so obscure I couldn't believe they tracked it down.  I'm sure they were just seeing if I was honest.

Lying is the worst thing you can do by far, because that's the end of your chances forever.

I was kidding, of course
you people have no sense of jokes.
uninformed? like I would be stupid enough to mean that. I was being sarcastic. you don't get sarcasm?Huh?? are you in KG?
I can't believe anyone is stupid enough to think I was serious!!! or are you just trying to play dum at my expense to get bonus points?

When I posted that I did not believe anyone would take me seriously. they teach humor at schools now, if you can't get jokes or sarcasm take a course.

it was also 02:31:41 am, who thinks clearly after 2:30 midnight.
I don't even remeber posting that. must have been under a lot of stress, and depressed.
