Hi,

My wife is planning to apply for Federal Skill worker under Dentist for 2011. She is back home and I am in canada. Will I be able to apply from canada on behalf of her after getting all the required documents from her.

If I can apply for her, Which office should I need to submit all the applications.

Plz Plz help me...

Your wife will be the Principle applicant, so technically, she would be the one who is applying.
You need to apply to CIC, Sydney, Nova Scotia initially and need not worry about which visa office to send ur application.
CIC will transfer your application to respective visa office.
Now as your wife is the PA it will be transferred to your home country as they will veryfy her work experience etc.

Thank you so much nano24482 !!!

So, she should be applying herself in Nova Scotia? Will I be able to help her getting all the documents from her and apply it from here in Sydney, Nova Scotia to expedite the process. Is that possible?

I have heard but not sure that relative or friend or spouse can apply on his/her behalf from canada...Is that true?

Please let me know...That will clear my confusion and will be able to proceed.

Why do you think it would be slower for her to mail her application directly to Nova Scotia than for her to mail it to you and you then mail it to Nova Scotia?  It is really the same application process whether the application is mailed from inside or outside Canada.

Thank you Leon,

The reason I was asking is becoz the mailing system back home is not secure and delays are more frequent. If I am able to send the document from canada and get the mailing replied to me. In another words, be a representative but as a friend...then communication between CIC would be better just incase I miss any document..

What do you say..? Do you think...I can represent her with the mailing address in canada???

Looking forward to hearing from you.
