Help please, does anyone know how I can get in touch with immigration officials at the buffalo consulate, so they can send me my passport back, or how I can go about cancelling my trv application so they can send me my passport back.

Please share your experience. I am in a very similar situation as my passport is with the Canada Embassy in Washington, but I had unexpected travel planned for Berlin. Can you contact them to send the passport back?
