we paid on 12 dec 2011 after paying how much time to get Passport request ....?

It can take an extra six weeks to process the payment. I would add on another week or two since there are so many holidays at this time of the year.

It can also take less than six weeks. It's really impossible to say how long it will take in your case since each application is individual.
