Hi All,
I have requested for my Visa in first week of Nov 2009 and at that time they have asked me to go for Repeat X-Ray. I did that and once again in first week of Dec 2009 i got another letter regarding further medicals required with below information CONSULTANT REPORT: Pulmonology Details od History, Current Clinical Status, Investigations Performed and the ETIOLOGY, DIAGNOSIS, TREATMENT and Prognosis: For left apical shadow and rule out TB. Further please SEND ALL X-RAYS to chest specialist.
I went to the chest specialist and he asked me for CT-Scan and in CT scan every thing was normal and he issued me a fitness certificate. In my family no one had TB and neither i drink nor smoke.
This time once again they have issued me a letter and i currently i am waiting for it that what they are asking me.
Could anyone help me here what excatly i should do as i don;t have any symptoms of TB
Thanks Aryan

Hi, My opinion is that the CIC Medical board is the decision making authority about your case, ensuring that the conclusions, prognosis and summary recorded on the medical forms which reflect the DMP's objective findings. Hi All,

Hi if you do not have any symptom of any disease do not be upset may go through the required medical test. every thing will be fine. CIC medical board may have some finding on x-ray soon they may need to be repeated. just pray and do the required test.

Hi,
Thanks for replying. I am not worried whether i am having a TB or not, but what worries me more is that i was schedule to go in Dec and if now they are again asking for any test then it will eat another 1-2 months and might be i will be losing the chance of going there.
Is this possible that i can apply for a 6 month visa as this one don;t requires any medical.
Thanks Aryan

Hi, At this situation, if you apply for a TRV I don't think it will be positively considered unless there is any substantial reason from your side to satisfy the visa Section. Once you submit application for TRV you have to admit that your PR application is in process. However you may get different opinions too. Hi,

Hi Wilson,
Thanks for the reply and your suggestion. I was supposed to go there for a 11 months assignment but already due to above process i have completed 3 months here only. now only 6-7 months assignment is left and also my counter part over there wanted to come back coz his visa is going to expired and he don;t want to come back. If Visa dept have told me earlier regarding this test i would have taken it in Nov but what they are doing is to test each and every method and in all methods till now doctors have given me clean chit. My latest CT-Scan have also ruled out TB.
I hope i can make it really fast, or else i have to ask another team mate to raise a 6 month visa.
Thanks Aryan

Hi All,
Please Please help me...... I got a letter from consulate and now they are asking me for a sputum test. When i went to the doctor and was looking at my previous report i came to know that my earlier Chest X-Ray films haven;t been send to Consulate office and in between i got a fitness certificate from Chest specialist for this.
Is there any way i can know what;s the issue is? i mean whether consulate people are having a doubt or the doctor who is taking my medical is having doubt.
Thanks Aryan

Write/FAX to the processing office and withdraw your application. At this stage your fees will not be refunded. PMM

Hi,
As per the VISA office i have to undergo for Sputum test. I talked to doctor and gave my sputum for test. Now i have a doubt, if i clear my sputum test also and once again doctor give me Fit certificate, can consulate still ask me some other test or they have any reason on my medical to reject my VISA.
I talked to doctor and as per him i should not take any medicine for TB coz i don;t have TB and if i will take any medicine (as per Consulate asking for medication done), then chances of negative effect can;t be rule out.
Please help.

Hi All,
I have been asked for sputum and smear test to rule out TB. I have under gone and my results were negative. Also my X-Ray taken was same as the one which was taken 3 months back. Chest Specialist authorized by DMP have given a medical fitness certificate to me.
I have submitted my passport. Is there any chance that they will ask for some other test or will refuse the visa.
Thanks Aryan

I have seen that you have been asked for repeated medicals test many times. This time I think they will come with a decision now and I pray its a positive decision. Since you have sent your passport now, be positive and wait for it to come. Best of luck
