Hello,

I just got married, my husband is a Canadian national living in Canada. I'm a Pakistani National residing in Saudi Arabia. My question is

1:From where does my husband need to file for my immigration? Islamabad, Canada or Abu dhabi?

2: Where from these locations will it take the fastest to complete the process?

3: Is there anything like fiance visa?

4 Undecided Undecided: What is the possibility if I wish to visit my husband in between the immigration process?

Thanking in advance.

While if hes your husband....and lives in CANADA
He would apply under family SPOUSE sponsoship....from CANADA, as an OUTLAND APPLICATION
FASTEST IN CANADA AS OUTLAND APPLICATION
YOU CAN APPLY FOR VISISOR VISA...BUT I DOUBT IT WILL GO THROUGH BUT U NEVER KNOW

NO SUCH THING AS FIANCE VISA.....BUT IF YOUR COMMON LAW.....LIVED TOGETHER FOR A YEAR OR SO...THERE IS THAT.

LOW CHANCES OF VISISTING..BUT YOU CAN ALWAYS TEST YOUR LUCK LOL

Hello,

I just got married, my husband is a Canadian national living in Canada. I'm a Pakistani National residing in Saudi Arabia. My question is

1:From where does my husband need to file for my immigration? Islamabad, Canada or Abu dhabi?

He will file  a family class application for sponsored person residing outside of Canada, The whole application which is two parts yours and his will be initially sent to CPC- Missisauga and you have the choice of asking for it to be processed with Islamabad (which is taking up to 21 months in 80% of cases or with Abu dhabi (which is taking 27 months for 80% of the cases), sometimes you receive the PR sooner but no guarantee

2: Where from these locations will it take the fastest to complete the process? Refer to question one. By the way you cant do an In Canada application unless you are residing here as a visitor or on some short of visa

3: Is there anything like fiance visa? There is no fiance visa

4 Undecided Undecided: What is the possibility if I wish to visit my husband in between the immigration process? You can apply for a visitor visa though a Canadian Consulate abroad but the chances of it being granted are low when you have a spouse that you want to visit and you have an application being processed. You must show very strong ties to your country of residence that would gurantee you would not overstay the visa and return home (ties such as property, job, family etc etc) With spouses there is a great risk the person will not leave upon expiry of the visa, so for that reason they are not usually granted, but definetely worth trying for if you think you can meet their requirements.

Thanking in advance.

I havent filed for my immigration yet because im trying to gather the proper knowledge before beggening with it. Now as per my knowledge i need to get the request letter for the police certification and then start with  the filing for the immigration.. but upon me asking from the riyadh's embassy they refused to issu any request letter for the poice certification and asked for the file number... NOW my question is how can i have the file number when i cant start the process in the very first place without the letter for the certification.. can anyone help please...

I've heard that some police offices do require a file #... but in your case you have to explain that you do not have one since your file has not been submitted yet. Also make sure that they are clear that you need to submit your police clearance letter to start the filing process. In most cases once you state this they issue the letter.

1. You husband can file for immigration in islamabad or in Abu dhabi...choice is ur's...u may need to check the avg processing time for these offices and choose. Unless u r in Canada, he cannot file the application in Canada
2. Check the CIC website for current processing time
3. There is no finace visa..besides if u r married and apply for a fiance visa, I think it might be considered mis-representation
4. CHances are very slim...!

You husband will have to call the CIC call cntr and order an application package which will have all the details! You just have to spend time reading it...if there is anything to be clarified I would say call CIC!

Both abu ahabi and islambad have the same processing time line (21 months) so ur in for a long wait unfortanatly. make sure after you complete the package that your husband sends it to the mississauga CIC office thats were all outland apps are sent. the police clearance is not important right now because it expires 6 months after its issued so I wouldnt worry about getting it in now. once its expired they will request new ones so it will be wasted.Unless its mandatory to send it in with the package (see visa office requirments).
