Help: Information required for TRV at CIC New York

Hi,
I will walk-in CIC New York tomorrow for TRV (Employer sponsored). I will reach JFK at 9:00 am. I would appreciate if experienced folks can answer me the following:

A. Do I get visa stamping on my passport within few hours? I have return flight from JFK same day at 1:30 pm.
B. How long does it take to travel from JFK to the CIC New York? I think the timings for in-person walk-in is from 8:00 am until 10:30 am. I intend to take a cab from JFK to CIC.

Any additional information would be highly appreciated.

it's quite possible that you will know about your visa right in the morning. they usually give reply withing a few hours if you apply in person.

Did you end up getting your TRV on the same day within an hour or so time? Please share your experience as I will be doing the same soon.

Anyone out there who had successfully applied for extension/renewal of his TRV or even a new TRV in person please share your experience.
