Hi all,

I'm struggling to find the appropriate contact number or means by which to (quickly) obtain a recall clearance letter from Kia Motors for my Kia Sportage SUV.  I need this letter to provide when I land.  I anticipate doing so within the next month.

Is anyone familiar with the KIA company, and how to quickly get what I need?

Thanks!

Hey Pharoh if you google EHow importing Kia to Canada it gives you a step by step guide about bringing your Kia to Canada.  Look in the tips section and it gives you all the contact info.

Hope it helps!

Go here:

http://www.riv.ca/RecallClearance.aspx

Things to note, you must have a list of all items you are importing to get the tax/duty exemption.  You do not have import them all at once, but you do have to declare everything at your first crossing if you are importing anything.

We are going through this now.  It can be very confusing.

Thanks guys.

I emailed Kia, and am waiting for an answer and or letter.  If I don't hear something in the next day or two, I'll call their corporate office.
