Colombo's average processing time is 13 months.  If they are going to convoke your husband for an interview, expect to be notified of this within the next 2-3 months.

You will not be able to sign into eCAS with his details until they have created his electronic file at the VO.  I still can't access mine unless I use my sponsor's details.

It is stressful for everyone to be apart from their loved ones.  If it is not possible for you to visit, focus on maintaining quality communication via the methods that are available to you.  This will help to ease the pain of separation until it is no longer necessary.

His meds expire in another 5 weeks, so I wouldn't make any bets on them calling him in for the interview before then.  The date has not yet been scheduled from what you know, and after the interview they still need to review the file and decide if they will approve it, so it is not unlikely that his medical will expire before you hear from them.
