Hello friends,

I am filling forms of "Application for permanent resident in Canada" and "Background declaration". However, I am getting confused about some items in the two forms.

1. In the form Application for permanent resident in Canada, item 5 asks me about "Your country of Citizenship" and "Your country of residence". Since I am a Chinese and hold a passport issued by China, but I have stayed in Canada for almost 3 years (2 years study, 5 months work, etc) and have post graduate work permit. How should I fill in this item? Should I write China under the Your country of citizenship while Canada under your country of residence or both China?

2. In the form Background declaration, item 5 it says current country of residence. Since I am working in Canada now, do I need to write Canada or China? If Canada, what should I write about the "Your status in that country"? I am holding a post graduate work permit.

Please help me and Thank you very much!
