I'm having trouble filling the personal history question
they only put months and years fields so i don't know whether to put vacation trips that are a couple of days. they said to not leave gaps but even if i don't put them there will be no gaps cause my husband (principal applicant) is actually working during these little getaway vacations.
Sorry if i'm not making any sense its 5:15 am now and I've been filling these applications all day.

oh and another question about addresses since the age of 18, all the date fields you have to enter only numbers, what about my current address? do i leave the TO field blank or put todays date?
Thanks in advance

In the application forms (personal history section) there is no place for the days, so it is fine to write the months and years only, but make sure that you do not leave gaps between any month and the other for example:

from Sep, 2000 to May 2001

from June 2001 to July 2002

from August 2002 to August2003

from sep 2003 to January2009

from Januray 2009 to ......... here you must write the application date (be careful do not leave it blank or  write upto date or any thing like that) otherwise they will send your entire application back to you and ask you to re fill it properly

I have seen many similar cases that were sent back because of that reason.

Another thing, if you don't have enough space to write all of the details, fill as much as possible on the applicatiin blanks and attach a separate paper to that page of the application and write everything related to the question that you are answering and staple it to the page containing the question.

Generaly in all of your application forms do not leave any thing blank, you must answer every single question by filling the related blank.

Unfortunatly, likely, they will send back your entire package to be modified by you along with a letter explaining the mistakes in filling the application form.

If you send them new modified copies with an explanation letter they might take it in consideration, but 90% they will send it back to you.

Good luck.

Yes, whenever you see an extra space for the given names which is not needed because you have already writen down the given names in one space (the above space), that is fine, and leave the below space blank, don not write in this case N/A because you have already put your given names in the specific space and the rest is an extra space for people who need more space for the given names.

Remeber, for that extra space leave it blank, do not write N/A inside that space because it belongs to the space above.
