hi fellows ,

                * does it effect on family case if both husband and wife r from different religions and both are waiting for pr process "one in canada and other in pak?" while we have no problem of ours different religions..
                * if in the lengthy process time like '3 and half yrs', husband and wife cant visit because of processing thing and less finances ... does it go against the case..?
                * while in a lengthy process and "husband wife r co-aplicant and waiting for process of pr to be done", can one partner go on welfare in canada ? or can she get any govt aupport which doesn't give bad effect to case ? asking because our process is become so lengthy and my wife in canada doing job and taking care of our son too. i have seen my son 3 and half yrs ago when he was just one and half yrs old..now i see them only on skype and talk to em by fone.
               * as ellections r coming in canada .. is it bad for ours cases which r in process that can they be delayed or immigration has nothing to do with elections ??
               * if immigration can take lengthy time ... is there any way that they can help financially  in need for wives those who r sponsoring their husbands and waiting and also taking care of kid, badly need husband back.well, i do business in my homeland but its very hard to give a big or continuos financial support from pak to canada ,because there is a huge currencey diffenrence. " 1 $ canadian stands for 87 pkr."we r so up set in this waiting game while my medical and backgrounds r done in pakistan and i hope next is coming ppr for visa .. plzz pray and any nice advice is wel come. thanks guys.

If your wife, the sponsor, goes on welfare at any time during the process of your application for PR, she is no longer eligible to be your sponsor.  No, there is no government assistance provided to wives waiting for husbands.

Having different religions is just a factor (among many) that may be looked at by the VO for assessing genuineness of a relationship but it will not cause an application to be processed (overall) faster or slower.

If your wife is a PR she can "visit" you (she can't move to Pakistan) but I would recommend short periods (max of 1 to 2 months).  If she is a citizen she has more options as citizens can sponsor their spouses while living outside of Canada.

CIC views an application to sponsor and application for PR of a spouse as a "choice", not a necessity.  Therefore they don't have any obligation to provide financial support to the sponsor while waiting for the process to be completed.
