Hi,

My Canadian wife is sponsoring me for PR via the outland route and we were wondering if anybody would be able to tell us if I can send in my application to change my status from my BUNAC working visa to visitor before my application for permanent residency, or do they need to be sent in together?

I'm waiting for police check from the UK and it seems to have got 'lost in the post' and will need to send again. We're on a tight deadline as my current temp visa expires on Sept 2nd and I need to send in application to change status 30 days before it runs out.

Many thanks for your help.

You don't need to send them together.
