Hi, I had filed my application for immigration at New Delhi(India) Consulate on March, 2008.

Recently there my application status has been updated with following message:

"We transferred your application to the Sydney, Nova Scotia - C-50 office on March 2, 2009. The Sydney, Nova Scotia - C-50 office may contact you."

Can anyone please let me know, is this normal that applications from India are transferred to Nova Scotia? Someone told me that this has happened probably due to your case being processed in ´fast track´ quota. Is this true? Also in how much time can I expect a response from there side?

Thanks

it will get transfered to NS, and they look to see if you fit the ministerial list criteria and then it will come back to delhi to reject you or keep processing your application.

Please don't expect me to answer if your post title has urgent in it and it is not really urgent. Urgent is 911 or you have a definite deadline tomorrow, not that you would like to send in the application soon

Hello Manpreethgr8..

Just want to know what NOC code have you used in your application? CIC has changed application procedure and Candidate have to send application and  other documents to Direct Sydney office only for FSW1.....

I am applying my application from India itself and send document to Sydney..

Yes!!!! My application is same with you. I applied last March 2008 in Philippines but according to my on-line status,

"We transferred your application to the Sydney, Nova Scotia - C-50 office on Feb. 17, 2009. The Sydney, Nova Scotia - C-50 office may contact you."

As of now, I'm still waiting for the contact of C-50 office. How long did they contact me since it is almost a month now?
