i got an overall band 7 ... 7 in all modules... i would like to know if i am intermediate or advanced .., and how to assess the same for french language. I studied french uptil my A level and I got A... it was 9 years ago

According to the Operations Manual You are Moderate 8 points total,French no longer valid repeat the test

thanks!!! I am still a bit confused... do u mean band 8 is moderate.. coz 9-12 is advanced and there is no band 12 in IELTS.... furthermore what is the operation manual?

According to the Operations Manual of CIC,The officer is instructed to score your language ability as moderate and you get a total of 8 points,If you scored 7.5 overall you could get 16 points,Its all in the manual

thanks.. i have checked the manual... i have read that for second language, even 5.5 everywhere can help me to achieve fulll marks.. now, i am relaxxed
