I'm sure they have ways to distinguish if a marriage certificate was genuine or not. If your marriage certificate is legit don't worry about it Smiley

Feb 29- Sent application to CIC
March 30- Approved and transfer to Singapore
August 14- Passport back with visa

by the way, CIC only asks for the copy of original along with a certified translation. They don't need your original certificate.

lol you want info on how to fake a marriage certificate?! good luck finding help here Smiley

ALSO FYI some visa offices DO request original marriage certificates not just a copy.

I wouldn't be troubling yourself with how they figure out if a marriage certificate is real or fake. As long as yours is real, you have nothing to worry about. Spend your energy elsewhere.

All i care is that those offices i am dealing with only require photocopies and certified translation.
So i kind hope it would be the case for other people.

By the way, are you talking to me or samir44? ha ha I was like....hmm..uhhh..oooh...what? haha
