If the baby is born in Canada, it will be a Canadian citizen.  Having a Canadian baby will not change your status in Canada.  You are still a visitor and have to leave when your visa expires.  The child will be able to get a Canadian passport for travel and will have the right to live in Canada when grown up.  As a visitor, you are not covered by health care.  The bill to have a baby in a Canadian hospital I have heard numbers between $5000 and $8000.  If there are complications, it could be a lot more.
