Hello generous people..please tell me if my job duties match NOC 2242..!

• Plan, develop and conduct tests on electronic components, products and systems for various brands of electronic equipment such as; televisions, home theatre systems, Blue Ray Players, business office equipment etc.
• Boot and test the functionality of AS IS Electronic systems such as LCD, LED TV's, Audio-Video Systems, circuits. For Example for a LED TV, look for Lines, Bright Pixels, Spots etc on Screen.
• Testing and Debugging PCBA'S (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) using applicable equipment and tools such as Multimeters, SMT's(Surface Mounting Techniques), Test Probes etc. and fix all electronic components to ensure electronic equipment is in prime working condition.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of communication ports such as  RS 232, USB Ports, HDMI Ports and test the software parts for Upgrades, Errors etc.of various brands of electronic equipment
• Maintain and compile a record of technical reports for every fixed piece of electronic equipment including its' respective electronic component specifications
• Ensure that all electronic equipment is properly calibrated according to the corresponding technical manual
• When required to do so, assist and supervise junior technicians with their job duties and ensure that their performance satisfactorily meets with our company standards

In the left, check occupation field by skill type, and then click on the occupation with prefix 2,  ur noc is listed there. The duties listed here are the duties against  which each application under this noc is assessed against....if it is one of the eligble 29 NOCs, that is. Compare it to urs and i am sure you can tell whether or not they match. Hope it helps....Mandie

100% agreed with Mandi....in addition to this you should sort out every single function you perform at your employer on daily basis....this will give you a better idea to compare your job role against the one in the NOC, if yours are close to it only then you may qualify....
