Health coverage...

Hello Guys,

I have my healthcard valid for five years..  If I go out of the country for more than six months to one year, am I still covered for health upon return?  or they will know that I was away from the country and deny coverage??

You have to read up on the rules of your province.  In some cases they allow people to be away temporarily and keep their coverage.  I can not tell you if they would find out that you were gone but there is always the possibility that they might in which case they would likely back charge you for services you received while you were not supposed to be covered.

However, even if you have moved away and move back, it will at most take you 3 months to get covered again.
