Sorry, I forget the ID of the original poster. She was the one, whose application was refused because she forgot to include her boyfriend in the form.

What is going on!!!

No.  They could deleted their posts to the thread but not all posts to the thread.  I think there is enough shadow and mirrors in the Immigration process without this.

I hope the moderators or admin tell us that the original poster made the request and they fulfilled it.

actually all the thread can be deleted by the person who opened it. that what might have happened.

Ah, well I think this is the case then (sorry for my mistake).  She probably deleted it right after she asked people to stop.  Maybe some posted after then.

Her right, of course but unfortunate because there was useful information in there for others.

I was kind of wondering where that thread went too. I thought I was imagining it. I was going to post to say that I have read of a very similar case where the couple was successful with an appeal so I really hope that she looks into that and that it all works out for them. Get yourself a good lawyer!

I think maybe she thought she had revealed too much information in her posts which could come back to haunt her. Or maybe she just didn't appreciate being called a criminal.  Roll Eyes

Maybe it's just me, but I thought she truly was upset about everyone being caught up in what she thought was a lost cause.  I wish she'd waited for you to post!

The poor lady came to seek advice after telling us the pure truth. She was attacked from all directions. She was described as liar , criminal etc etc. I felt so sorry for her. My best guessing is that she came from a society or culture where she can never admit having a boyfriend outside the marriage. This is also a reason why she probably got scared that she may be identified or recognized and therefore she asked for the thread to get deleted. My heart is with her and I wish her all the best
