have Expired Visa

Hello,
   
    In the check list it has mentioned that if we are staying in country different from our natinality then we need to attach copy of VISA for that country. I am in USA from last 4 years, But currently my VISA stamping has expired, but I have valid I-94.  So is it ok to send a photocopy of I94 or do I need valid stamping?
