Hi People and all the Seniors! Has this ever happened to anyone?
I am a London VO applicant. My passport was requested for visa stamping 2 months ago. Till today am still waiting for my passports to be returned. The VO sent me an email two days before i was to go and collect my passports saying they will contact me when to pick my passport. It is now 2 months and they havent got back to me. This seems abnormal! Guys any comment on this? I have emailed the VO but no response from them.

Please send your advice. Thanks,

Kasim

I have heard of the same from other VOs. cases like this happen when they request for your passport almost after your medicals and return your passport 3 months after. on the other hand, some get PPR 3 to 5 months after and get their passports back 2 weeks after sending it.

did you get your PPR clubbed with MR? if so, they may still be doing security check. otherwise, you may want to send an email to the VO asking for the status.

other folks, correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks Jangong!

You may be right because in the email the VO mentioned that they were doing some security verications. But I wonderd why these could be done at the very last moment! I thought these get done well before passports are asked for.
Anyway, my medical should be expiring in the next 4 weeks. I hope they can get back to me before they expire otherwise, I will have re-done them twice.
What do you guys suggest I should do. I have contacted the VO and there is no response from them.

Hi Kasim, i had also gone through the same experience, after sending the PP for visa stamping, the PP was further held up for some more security checks. And i received it back after 3 months.

So dont worry, you will get it soon after the checks are over.

Cheers...

SATDXB woo!
That was so encouraging man! I am only getting worried that my medicals as they will be expiring in about 4 weeks time. I am glad to know this has happened to you and happens to other people. Cool I will wait for the next few weeks.

Kasim,

This has happend before. I am most certain that the embassy will call you to for your PP just before your medicals expire.

Experts, - what do you guys advice?
