This question is specifically for 2007 applicants who applied to the London Office.

I would like to know if anyone withdrew his or her case after receiving that letter requesting confirmation of continuous interest in immigrating, and got their application fee refunded?
I mean after the time period elapsed and/or they confirmed interest, and then later on withdrew their application.

Thank you.

Look, once 120days time limit over, you can ask for refund, your FEES refunded by CIC NS to you.
Fees will not refund once you got 2nd AOR and your application is In-process status and you withdraw your application.
but you not sent your Full documents in 120days to your local CHC, follow refund steps, everything mentioned on CIC website www . CIC . GC . CA

Thank you for your input,  but unfortunately you seem not to have read and understood the question,  plus the question refers to pre-feb2008 applicants where their was nothing like second AOR and 120 days requirement,  and yes, I have read the OP6e.PDF plus the web site many times that I can now even quote pages off my head (LOL).

Again, the question is aimed at those applicants that applied before the changes in Feb20008 i.e the FSW SAP.

By the way the "CIO_VisaOfficer" does not actually depict your/the knowledge of a visa officer as per the question at hand.
Apologies for being harsh.

Yes you will get a full refund, if you withdraw your application at this stage before submitting full application

Thanks S.K.
Yes, I have not submitted a single document to date other than the Application form, the fee and RPRF,  and have not received any instruction(s) - (Documents update Letter) from CIC London to date to do so. Hence, the reason for the above question. I am asking this question on the forum as my mail requesting above info was never replied to.
