Hi All

I know there are some London applicants out there who have been waiting quite a while, but is there anyone who has had the sponsor approved in Sept 09 and the file sent to London?  If so, has eCAS been updated to show the PR in process?  Anyone received AOR letter (which is not normally sent but may have been occasionally)?  The sponsor section on our file states decison made but the PR status says Not Available.  It's been 5 weeks since sponsor was approved and file transferred to London.

My file was transferred on December 8, 2008 to London and London did not begin processing until January 8, 2009.  Your application should begin processing soon, 5 weeks is a long time, but then again, we are talking about London!!!  I suggest that if you do not see any changes by the end of this week you should send a case specific enquiry to London and ask them if they received your application.

Here's the URL for case specific enquiries:

It's been my experience that most times when you see an update from a visa office on e-cas, it will be on a monday. For me, it showed as "In Process" on the monday after I got the AOR letter.

Just wanted to let you know that even if e-cas doesn't show anything, it doesn't necessarily mean they're not working on your application yet. And I'd wait till tuesday until you send the enquiry, maybe your update will come up on monday. Good luck!

whoopi83, mitamata is right.  As well, London doesn't always update e-cas.  The last update I have on e-cas was the date of my husband's interview.  When I spoke to the man that conducted my husband's interview, I told him that e-cas has not been updated since the notice for my husband's interview was posted.  He acknowledged that and said that they usually do not update e-cas, only when there are major steps in the process such as when processing begins, the date of the interview, and when the visa is actually issued.  From my experience with London, you'll have to send in case specific enquiries or call them to get updates.
