"Your file appears ready for final decision.  (You) will be notified of any pending documents and / or requirements once the final review is completed"

What does that mean? How long will it sit in ready for final decision? Medicals were done and sent in the beginning of December (5+ months ago). The new york office sent me this message last week after a long time of trying to contact them with no luck.

How soon is the usual wait do you know?

Application was originally received in Buffalo August 30 2009.

We transferred your application to the New York office on October 27, 2009. The New York office may contact you.

If that is the date I am supposed to go by for my processing time, then it is exactly 19 months this month. I don't want to get too excited, but I think it may be coming very soon.

You are alm,ost through, this message is normally sent when all formalities are over and file is ready to brought on immigration officer desk for one final glance. you shd be ok v soon Smiley
