Hi, what i know because my sister got this process also but from US immi., They just do it in six month from your first x-ray,(obvious changes can occur in this timeframe) to really clear all doubt that your condition has not relapsed or anything like that. If the healing is complete and result is better than the last result, then that is a good sign that you will be receiving a PPR soon. Don't worry.

Presently just try to adopt a healthier lifestyle, lung problems can recur. and Canada is one cold place  Grin . (not just because of immigration but for a longer life) Grin Grin

God speed.

Dear emy 1001,

Well, did you mention to the DMP that your husband had TB 30 years ago. Was the TB treated. Did you provide evidence of the treatment?
If yes, then there should be no problem in your case.
The follow up medical is just to make sure that the disease in not active. Even if it is active, there will be no problem. He only have to take the medication and that's it.

Dear Sir
  thanx 4 reply
actually we ask a specialist before we go 4 medical check.... he diagnose it as a primary infection which is calcified & appear as there are nothing at all  furthermore  another one couldn't find anything up normal
he advise as not to tell DMP  as we are married since 20 years and Iam OK
but unfortunately  they asked 4 more check  up.....I mean sputum culture  which the result will be on 9 Oct
but do u think that there will be another check ??
and what will be the expected delay over the eight weeks

If they issue medical furtherance, it will come after six months of the repeat x-ray. But it all depends on how the x-ray turns out. In many cases, they never asked for the medical furtherance. So keep your fingers cross and hope for the best.
