Hi,

I need to apply for a Saudi Arabian PCC, has anyone gone done this from India? I have left Saudi on a final exit
Last year. Now I have received medicals & PCC request from CHC wherein I am required to submit a Saudi PCC.

I have done my part wherein I got this results...

> I have checked with the Saudi embassy, they advised me to apply through the Indian embassy in Riyadh.

> I have contacted the Indian Embassy, they say that they will accept this request only if it is forwarded by the Regional passport office in India.

> and lastly, the regional passport office doesn't seems to have any process wherein they accept requests for a Saudi PCC.

I am stuck now, don't know what to do??? Seniors pls advise.

Sorry but it is really difficult to get PCC from Saudi once you are out of the country. Please search the forum very well, you may get information. There's a thread for Saudi applicants, maybe you can post the question there as well.I read somewhere that there's an agency that helps people obtain the PCC but can't really remember now.I wish you all the best.

See this:125 - Saudi Arabia
Citizens -nationals should obtain a police certificate from the Saudi authorities. Apply to the Directorate of Saudi Arabian Civil Police.
Temporary residents (Moslems only) currently living in Saudi Arabia should obtain police certificates as outlined above for citizens. Saudi Arabian police certificates are not available to all other temporary residents, including those who have previously been temporarily resident in Saudi Arabia.

Thanks for sharing this link, Vincen't blog seems to be very helpful!!

Your Ref:I believe the document from the "helpline group" should suffice. "PCC" is a document which all countries should accept.

As "jes_ON" mentioned, i had tried getting it from there but it failed. The email address "riyadh.visa     @     international.gc.ca" is in Canada. They directed me to Saudi consulate in India. I emailed Saudi consulate in India and they asked me to contact Indian consulate in Saudi. Finally Indian consulate in India replied to me saying they can process PCC only for Indians which is absolutely reasonable. But however, if you can manage to get the PCC from Saudi consulate in India, then nothing like it. No need to shell out money.

I had to initially get my finger prints attested by the local police ( In my case Bangalore CID section). This doc along with iqama, passport copies and Photos of mine i gave it to the agency. The agency gave back the fingerprint document with arabic seals on it. I believe these seals were the police clearance seals. This document was attached with a translation of the seals. If you are of interest to see it, plz mail me at vincent_varghese22   @   yahoo.com  i have the scan of the doc with me.

Cheers
Vincent
