Hi,
I have applied under FSW1 in late June, and might received by CIO after 26-06. I am now worried when we got response?
Has anybody got his/her application back due to received on or after 26-06-2010.
Anyone have idea how much time it will take.....................

I think it is too early to get the app back, it may take about two months before CIO starts sending app back

Sorry about that.

What did they say was it rejected based on your occupation not being in the list? or other reason(s)?

My consultant told me that there are people who are going to court and want immigration authorities to treat the skilled immigrants same as investors as investors application will be considered as post mark date whereas our applications will be treated on the basis of application delivery date.

Anyway it is extreme bad luck. It is really harsh. I was really hoping that they will give bit relaxation.

What date actually you posted your application? And what can be the alternate plan?

I sent my Documents last July 21 by courrier, as per the tracking system of FEDEX they delivered the package on 25th of june ( friday ).

Do you think they will consider my application by the old system?

Im still waitng for a feedback from CIO, i just pray that it goes to the old policy.

What did the mention in the letter?

As per my information, CIC people open all applications as per the receiving date and they are still opening applications of around 20th April.

Can you please let us know whats exactly mentioned in the letter.

Thanks

As I mentioned, my application was received by 30th June. That means they evaluate the eligibility of the application received on or after 26th June, and returned if they are not eligible.

Do we have to send ALL the Dox at once HuhHuh??

COz, looking at this  Canada Gazette > Part I: Notices and Proposed Regulations > 2010-06-26 on canadagazette dot gc dot ca, A Canadian Official site, there is no mention of sending all the Dox ( including PCC , Prrof of funds, Academics, Work Ex etc ) .

Only ITELTS score is required .

Request you to please give your opinion on this .
