has any one received visa after a year wait from new delhi office

thank  you guyssss.... do u know if there is any option or any means that can faster the process or waked those people upppppp..can u imagine guys,,, its been one year... and my spouse passport is still with them....they could refuse then atleast i will reapply..

how did they get your spouse passport?  when you filed your applications did you sent passpot copy only like everybody else?  confusing!

my spouse all they way flew to delhi... and came to know that the office for public doesnt open any more... isnt it frustrating... nothing was updated in website... god.... no benefit of flying all the way..damn!!!!no where to contact... MP  office...noone seems to be helpful..

Hi! I had applied on oct 2010 and file was sent to delhi on nov 2010.spouse passport was asked on jan and interview was schedled on feb 2nd week. I flew to india and attended the interview.. interview was successful and he even said he will give us visa and only need was police certificate.. he returned my spouse passport and said to send police certificate with the passport. we send ASAP the passport and police clearance... no response for 2-3 months and kept writing emails.. said didnt receive police certificate.. and again sent on  june. and still on hold... did get a email saying that they received police clearance and is under review... dont know who to contact....spouse flew to delhi and public office is closed and just came back 2 dyas back with disaapointment..

So, in your case its already surpassed normal processing time i.e 6 months and who ever surpassed the limit is considered with red flags in the application.

Just answer me to the asked questions : 1) Is it first marriage for both of you 2) Medicals expiry date ? 3) Spouse profession past and present ?
