H4 visa for less than 6 months .... do they need PCC from Fbi/state

Hi,

My husband is on H4 in US form last 2 months. he is planning to go back to india in Jan 2010.
my question is : does he need FBI clearance or state PCC. we r in the proccess to collect the documents.

Only if he stayed in the U.S.A. for less than 6 months. If he stated for 6 months or more (regardless of status) he must give a police certificate, otherwise not.
