H1B SRS Scheme is gone! Now What????

I was wondering if someone has thought about Information Technology immigrants and skilled workers.

As we all know that Alberta SRS H1B category is no longer accepting applications for these people and US Green Card process includes same bureaucracy, government involvement, time line, Quota based upon birth country, numbers to justify the delay of 15 years in Green Card application process. - my question to all is when this will end? When an applicant will be recognized just as a human applicant not a disqualified applicant because of birth of this human in a distinct land?
