Can you please tell me what would be the funds requirement during various phases of getting the PR ? I am applying for PNP via Alberta under the H1B category.
Also, when do we have to show the funds and whats the amount one has to show as liquid cash ?

Thanks.....

I think you need to show the funds when you are entering Canada after getting your PR, if applied under H1 - PNP

This is very controversial. Buffalo Office Instruction book says that PNP applicant have to come up with the statement. New delhi (This office is somewhere in India or pakistan) Instruction says that PNP applicant doesn't need proof of fund. But given today's economy, Certainly applicant will have to show proof and actual fund while land into canada

Maybe he doesn't.  He might come from a country that doesn't teach geography in its schools.  Like the US Tongue

For people who don't know where New Delhi is, it's easily found at http://maps.google.com/maps?q=new%20delhi

New delhi (This office is somewhere in India or pakistan)

Is this part of a conspiracy to smuggle New Delhi out of India to Pakistan?

I actually wanted to ask him if he was raised in the US to not know where New Delhi is in my original message, but decided to not go there as I was worried about offending people in this forum. Leon, you hit it right on the head.

I sure know he tries hard to be funny, but apparently his type of humor isn't much appreciated here where some people are desperate and hopeful at the same time when it comes to PR applications! ;-)
