Do you think, the person who is attending the calls at hot line,is the one who is working on everyone's applications.

So looks like still no one has gotten any nominations from Alberta this month, even the pre-assessment applicants. I believe Canada is still going to maintain the intake of 240000 - 265000 immigrants in 2009 per the immigration minister although it is subject to change.

OHH YEAH!!! THEY ARE THE SAME. BELIEVE ME!!. So yeah, I do think calling may delay process. But if you really need to call, well... They are not answering the phone anymore anyways. I think they made a mistake of not advertising they have a delay of applicattions, it's very understandable if they do, but if you don't know what's going on, how do you expect people to be patient???. If they said it should take up to 3 months and they there has been 4 months and no news about it, people want to know if something is wrong (maybe the letter got lost on the mail), so they want to know, but if we know all the applicattions are delayed, then one can wait.
Albertagoverner does sound sometimes like he works there, I really hope he doesn't, he seems to spend a whole lot of time here while there are a whole lot of applications to be reviewed, hehehehe. Also Governer, how does sending an e-mail makes a difference from a phone call?.

Smiley This is cool...  Anyways Governer told me I'll be getting my certificate by the 17th of this month i.e. April 17, but... I'm still waiting though!
Someone said no nomination this month but I thought I read in this form a few days ago that two people mentioned they got theirs ... !!??

Um... No.

As of now 4 months for assessment/file-number and 4 months for nomination.  Total 8 months, but you can be sure these processing times will go up soon.

If the pre assessment was done as per the old process, then the nomination decision should be done in 4 months from the day the application was received at AINP.

For those who applied under the new process, they might take 4 months to do the pre assessment and then might take another 4 months to approve the nomination

This my understanding based on the published dates, nothing has been confirmed with AINP.
