Hey Folks,
Has anyone on the list put together by Manny recd the "Nomination Certificate" yet? Secondly, has anyone already started preparations for the 2nd stage in form of collecting relevant docs, certs etc etc? Please share the specfics with rest of the group.

Since you already got your file number in February it is better for you to start working on putting all the docs together. You may get your nomination any time. Since the race has already begun, the sooner you send your application to CIC the better is the chance of your application getting processed earlier. (You will be ahead in the queue) Get your PCC from all states you had lived in USA and from your home country. This is the one that takes more time among all docs and they are valid for 3 months. All others should be easy. If you need any translation for any of your docs then start working on that one also. Good luck...

We submitted under the old process. Ell.Bee I am sure you mentioned this earlier and my apologies for asking again, but did you submit your application to AINP under the old process (with pre-assessment) or under the new process (without pre-assessment)? Cheers, Who Appln Recd by AINP File # File # recd

I sent my AINP docs on 1st april and they reached on 2nd april now waiting for file number. I have one question i applied under NOC 2173 Software Engineer and Designer i have computer science degree but don't have any engineering license, whether it will work or not? in the employment requirements for NOC 2173 they stated http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=2173Licensing by a provincial or territorial association of professional engineers is required to approve engineering drawings and reports and to practise as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).foks any idea abou it?

All, Albertagovernor
I just had the following questions
1. Do PNP applicants get interviewed by CIC (in our case AINP H1B applicants)
2. From this forum I have seen that a majority of the applicants that have received their file numbers are the one's with pre-assessment done and whose applications reached before Feb19th. When do you think we should start applying for PCC's. I am assuming that since file number were issued during March17th to March 24th timeframe, all these applicants should hear something regarding their nomination by end of May or even before in which case it would be better to start preparing for PCC's by end of April so that one has all the PCC's when the nomination certificate is issued by Alberta

Yes AINP is asking about paystubs from all applicant even who applied before 19th Feb. Because The applicant whose status is somehow maintained now (Means they have current paystub) are under Buffalo CIC Jurisdiction and thier Certificate will also be mailed from Edmonton to Buffalo. Those who were "in status" at the time of application but now victim of economic Downturn/Laid Off/Out of Status are under Home Country Canadian Consulate Jurisdiction. Therefore thier Certficates will be mailed from Edmonton to Home Country Canadian Consulate. Albertagoverner, Pls dont make point blank stmts. We know that you joined this forum on Jan 7th and have also applied under AINP. You are giving false hope to people who are eagerly just accepting whatever you say to console themselves. Please make stmts only that you are 100% sure of. It could mislead somebody.
