HI, How do we know if we receive nomination, do we get the nomination by mail or do we know by email...please i sent my doc request on Jan 8th ..still waiting

Actually i was asked to send the Add doc on dec 4th, i was in india at that time and i replied the same , he said ok. I came back on 4th of jan and send the add doc on 8th jan...So still waiting...

when my wife who is the spouse (not the applicant) wants to fill out this form, should she put her name next to the Applicant field, or next to the Spouse field?

      for your wife you are the spouse and for you she is your spouse.
For CIC u r the pricipal applicant and she is also an applicant . thats why u pay say $510 fee.

It should be in the Applicant field.

• If the candidate is completing this form they must list their name in the "applicant" section and their spouse/common-law partner name in the applicable section.

• If the candidate's spouse/common-law partner is "applicant" and the candidate as the spouse/common-law partner in the applicable section.

This information is explained in the documents sent along the nomination from AINP.

I don't know what all the documents to be filled in to submit to the CIC (Buffalo). If anyone points me to correct link or more information I'll really appreciate it!

Congratulations on your nomination! I updated your information and modified the list above.

What you have to do now is to submit your application to Buffalo along with some documents. Our best guide for this process is Visa Office Specific Instructions for Buffalo (http://www.cic.gc.ca/EnGLish/pdf/kits/guides/E37048.pdf). It lists all forms/documents which we need to send to Buffalo (Just follow "P" column for Provincial Nominee).

One of the requirements listed in Visa Office Specific Instructions for Buffalo is to obtain police certificates. We must obtain a police certificate from each country or territory where we have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18 (State PCCs are not required at this stage of CIC process but we can include them in our application to Buffalo). Now obtaining FBI clearance usually takes about 3 months, so you should submit your request to FBI as soon as you can if you haven't done it yet.
