Hi Jasper,

Clarifications here ----------

Pre-Assessment: No
Application Date: 4/21/2009 (Do you remember the exact date?)
NOC: 2133/2147
File #: 51XX (the first 2 digits out of 4 will be helpful to other forum members)
Which is your File # Receipt Date, 11/06/09 (Receipt date) or 8/25/09 ( First Documents request date) Is 11/XX/09 doc-request date? (Exact dates will be helpful)
H1-B Status: Yes

Thank you, neteng. I've entered your timeline to the spreadsheet (but I did not enter 8/25/09 as doc-request date since it was not the doc-request which AINP asks just before nomination). You'll be able to see the update in a day or two. Good Luck!

Hi All,

My timelines are mentioned below:
Feb 02 2009 : Applied for AINP Nomination
May 15 2009 : Recieved File number xxxx-xx-xx17
Nov 25 2009 : Recieved an email for H1b Copy and Recent Pay Stub
Nov 27 2009 : Faxed all documents.
Dec 07 2009 : Recieved AINP approved packet to the old address, since i moved to new location
Feb 02 2010 : I emailed program manager who is dealing with my application for status and she replied my AINP is approved on Dec 7th       and                 posted me packet and promised me to resend the packet to new address.

I think i will be recieving the approved packet in next 4 days. Please advice me on few questions i have on next stage

I included my spouse when i filed application but recently got a daughter of 3 months old whose details were not included. AINP asked me to fax my daughter birth certificate, which i sent them yesterday.

now when it comes to medicals and police clearance , do i need to furnish police clearance for me and my wife from India and USA ? do this step include my daughter who is three months old ?

The moment i receive the AINP certificate ...please let me know what all the documents, I need to send it to CIC ?

Any advice related to above questions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for everyone who is supporting such an informative forums.

The general rule of obtaining police certificate is "You and everyone in your family who is 18 years of age or over need to obtain a police certificate. You must obtain a police certificate from each country or territory where you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18." (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/intro.asp)

And you will receive detailed medical instruction from CIC after submitting your application to Buffalo. (You are not supposed to have an immigration medical exam before submitting your application.)

The following link is Visa Office Specific Instructions for Buffalo. You can use this as the checklist of documents you'll need to send to Buffalo. http://www.cic.gc.ca/EnGLish/pdf/kits/guides/E37048.pdf (Just follow "P" column for Provincial Nominee.)

You need to update the CIC forms which you filled when you applied for AINP.

And as I wrote in the previous post, the Buffalo Instructions (http://www.cic.gc.ca/EnGLish/pdf/kits/guides/E37048.pdf) will work as a list of documents you'll need to send to CIC. The nomination certificates do not list the documents you need to prepare for CIC process, so you must do your own research. Also the list is not short, so it is not likely that anyone is going to list all documents here for you. What you can do is to read this Visa Office Specific Instructions for Buffalo and post your questions here (or in CIC-related threads) if you have any.

First of all, They only have email address as a point of contact. Second, even if somehow you google and find out a number, they will NOT entertain any immigration matter. Email or Fax them.

Its 1 thing to ask for clarification, But sometimes I wonder if fellow applicants even bothers to read basic instructions !

Hope this will answer most of your question regarding what to submit and what not to submit as a provincial  nominee. Follow column P.
www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/E37048.pdf

I know for a fact they will not respond to emails if if you do not have file # in the email.

Also this site generally answers many of the questions 1 can have hope reviewing these sites will help

I have been following this forum for a while, really good one. Looks like people with my same timeline received nominations. Concerns me little that I missed their call or missed the package. Any of your help is appreciated  Smiley
Pre process - N
H1B - Y
Applied on - 04/03/2009
File # on - 08/12/2009
Notified my change of employer information on - 12/07/2009
Doc request date - Still waiting
Nomination - Still waiting.

I have two questions,
1. Do you get document request through email or phone?
2. Does AINP  send the nomination package through email or by post. If post do they notify through email that they have sent Nomination packet through post?

I appreciate anyone's response on this.

Thanks Guys
Summer
