Hi Chinga,
Given Babuganess case, I hink AINP is not considering out of H1 cases even though their applications reached AINP before feb 19th 2009?But in Babuganesh case, recept date was of March that may be the reason.
Did u check with AINP lately abt your status?

Grewals, I haven't still heard anything from AINP. I sent them an e-mail asking them about my status but no reply so far. I thought Babuganesh2000 applied in Jan. Anyways we will have to wait and see what happens. I have started looking for other options now like the FSW program or maybe even look for opportunities here in India. Babuganesh's application was rejected becuause he was out of H1B status, but according to grewasl his application reached in March and was rejected because of this. Hi Viper, Congrats on your Nomination. I also received nomination on Saturday. Here I am writing to make sure one thing.
Do we need to send our professionals and Educational and Banks Statement showing the sufficient funds
details to Buffalo office along with our application. I dont see it is required to send those documents or Bank Statements In the Buffalo office guide lines given for Provincial nominees ~RoyalHeart I received my nomination letter today. It was just a copy of the nomination letter, the packet was mailed to Cohen (my lawyer).
Here are the details of my app:
Application sent: Feb 6th
File number received: March 12th
Noc: 2151
Doc request: Dec 11th
Nomination received: Jan 9th
Nomination date: Jan 4th

Does any one contacted Chicago India consulate. I applied from my PCC on March 2009. But haven't taken that. Do they give if I want to take it now.

if you live near chicago... then its best go and try getting it. as per my knowlege, PCC is valid for one year from the date you apply before they issue it.. but once they issue it , then its only valid for 3 months... so suppose you applied in March 2009, then this PCC is valid till March 2010, before this you need to collect it. and the date you collect it it will be only valid for 3 months. Just confirm it before going to them if you live far from consolate. Hi There,

Finally received nomination package today.
Application sent: March 6th
File number received: Aug 1st
Noc: 2173
Doc request: Dec 11th
Nomination received: Jan 11th
Nomination date: Jan 4th
One thing thats different is that my NOC has been changed to 2173 and I had applied as 2174
Its all fine, because my job duties cover some of 2174 and 2173, maybe they feel that I fall more under 2173, so Im going to leave it as it is....
