Hi There, Did any one applied for Federal Clearance. I am planning to apply. I took Money Order for $18. Do we need to sign on back or any where on the MO slip. Executive in Post Office told that I no need to sign. Where as in the instructions - given in the Federal website- they mentioned sign where ever required.
Can any one of you please confirm.
Thanks in advance.

This I can answer. I survived on money orders for full 2 years. Simple answer, there is no need to sign.
But there is a customer copy that you should tear off the money order and keep with you just in case.
Even if you don't have customer copy, post office should be able to show proof of purchase of money order and details of when and by whom it was en cashed.
All this is possible if you purchased money order in United States. I do not know how system works in other countries.

For FBI verification you can pay by credit card as well. Any body knows of any drawback using credit card for paying the $18?

Dear Fellas, First of all warm wishes for New Year. I hope you all had a great time.
Here I am writing to bring you some good news. I was asked for H1 update, Paystubs and any status change if I have.
I sent my updates on Dec 9th. Till now no news. On Monday 4th 2010 I sent a mail to the person who asked me the documents.
She respond to my mail stating below.
Dear XYZ..! Happy New Year to you too. Your certificate has been issued and you should receive it sometimes in January.
So lets keep our hopes alive.
Wish you all good luck in new year.
Regards RoyalHeart
Hi RoyalHeart Could you please share your time lines.. just to compare with mine and be prepared. Thanks Arimoham

Any Ideas on when they will start sending out document requests again? looks like the process has been stalled since december 15.

looks like they were off for two weeks, because nominations were coming in 14-18 days after request for documents too, and that timeline is also crossed.... we need to wait patiently I guess Any Ideas on when they will start sending out document requests again? looks like the process has been stalled since december 15.

Today I called AINP office.... As per officer they are NOT picking the applications based first-come-first-serve. They are picking based on NOC codes / and based on Alberta needs..... I applied in FEB-2009.....waiting for Document Request/Nomination Certificate.....
