just wonder how can I get a negative rate from somebody?
Never offend anybody? Can I check who did that? Sad

I don't think we can check where the rates come from. Mine often goes up and down. Maybe someone is just jealous of your success in immigration process. (I just put a positive rate, so it's 0 at this point Smiley)

And I need to make a correction on my early post. I'll update CIC timeline tracker with Ell.bee, Manny, DJ, and vsrao. Whenever I see any CIC-related timeline in the forum, I'll update it on the CIC spreadsheet (just like AINP spreadsheet).

Dear wantoca,

Just to clarify. You can apply for AINP Nomination only when your occupation is under pressure list. For ex, IT is not in the current list, but AINP may soon revise this list as this is not permanent.

If you have a job offer, you can go for FSW (Federal Skilled Worker of Alberta) not AINP Nomination. But, FSW takes around a year with the current time line (I believe), and we don't find many employers who can offer a letter and wait until 1 year to have the employee on board.

AINP may soon revise the list, you may have to wait and watch.

All the best mate !

Thank you. I have one more question. How long is it taking for the whole process? and also upon approval do we have to move to Canada immediately or do we have some time?

1) You are a March applicant.

2) There are some March applicants who have not received doc-request/nomination yet (even some Jan/Feb applicants). Here's our timeline spreadsheet: http://tinyurl.com/AINP-Tracking-System
If you click "AINP timeline tracker," then you will see the forum member's timelines including doc-request date.

Here comes the Monday and I hope AINP will start working again after taking vaccation of 15 days.  They have not issued any file #s since Nov 10 and many are waiting day by day to recieve the email that will make sure they have the application. My Fed Ex reciept says its delivered to mail room, Edmonton AB on Oct 2nd but waiting for the "official" confirmation for last 94 days.

Hi chinga,

are u now out of status?  i have applied on apr 22nd  noc 2017, got file no on aug 20. My employer would cancel my h1b for sure by jan 15th. Do you think i would get nomination if i were out of status? Do u think they will  consider us(who r out of status) since they have long delayed on issuing nominations.

Yes I am out of H1B status, but my application reached end of Jan (before Feb 19th). As per AINP any applicant before Feb 19th had to be in H1B status only at time of application which I was. Any applicant after Feb 19th need to be in H1B status at time of nomination
