In my opinion, it is best to provide AINP with your new address even though your paystub still has your old address. I believe AINP request recent paystubs just to verify your employment status in US. Anyway, when AINP request additional documents, you have to include your address update, and it may be risky not to provide the address changes at the time. (Even in nomination letter, they write "This approval is conditional upon you providing and maintaining your full contact information with us.")

that depends on you application status

Case1 : Ainp requested you for additional docs and you already replied and waiting for nomination.

solution: you can go to your local post office and ask them to hold your mails with them.

so you can go and collect your mails personally.

Case2:  Ainp requested you for additional docs and you dint reply
solution: forward your current address to ainp.
case3: Ainp didnt request additional documents
solution:

if you are working - wait till you get paystub with your current address
if you are not working - just update Ainp with new address .

Hope it helps

Hello,

I am planning on applying for through this program. I am currently on H1B, working as an IT Consultant. I came across this news(link below) while researching this Alberta program.

migratenow.ca/articles/145.asp

How far is this true? Are IT Consultants from US on H1B no longer eligible for AINP?

Thanks.

It's a while back that Alberta removed the IT occupations from it's most wanted list.  You can see the website of this program here: http://www.alberta-canada.com/immigration/immigrate/srsvisaholder.html and you can find the link there to the most wanted list.

You would still be eligible for AINP if you had a job offer but then you would be under employer driven stream and not under the H1B program.

Hi Indium_Sulfide,

Did you already get the PCC and the FBI certificate....or you applied without them?

Hi Indium-sulfide-2,

Ell.bee and Manny manage CIC timeline tracker while I manage AINP timeline tracker. I'm sure they will update your timeline on the CIC spreadsheet soon.

Dear All,
I followed Depo's advice to send with the old PCCs, for they are expiring. I will update with the new one upon receving from FBI.

Thank you. I have one more question. How long is it taking for the whole process? and also upon approval do we have to move to Canada immediately or do we have some time?

Cheesy yeah, even i noticed the same thing some time back!  Looks like some school kid who just logs in to click "poor" and runs away to play with friends, he has nothing to do with what someone has written  Grin  infact negative or positive hardly makes a difference... you all in this forum are great help!
