Don't loose heart, we can understand how it feels like. You guys should probably start bugging them, because they had mentioned that you have to be on H1 at the time of application for the old process folks. I guess people out of H1 can forget about nomination...  |

Hello Everybody, just to inform you that I recvd my nomination on Dec 16. Request for documents mail was sent on Nov 27, 2009 but at that time my H1 was not yet renewed. Sent them the H1 approval on Dec 8.
My NOC is 2174

I guess people out of H1 can forget about nomination... Please don't give up hope. This goes for Chinga, redstar, yofeihong and everyone who is out of the H1B status but applied in the old process. When the request for my documents had come (Nov 27, 2009) my H1 had gone for renewal and USCIS had sent a RFE but I was lucky to have got the approval on Dec 8, 2009. Divagirl, Do not lose hope because everything is possible... I'm a living testimony to what you are experiencing and I got my nomination yesterday.... I belong to the new process. Sent apps Jan, 16 2009, App received: Feb 19, File # received: April 20, Document Requested: Nov 25, Nomination Received: Dec 16... and yes my H1 renewal is still pending....NOC 2171 Good Luck I guess people out of H1 can forget about nomination... |

If you see the list, they are giving nomination only to people who are on H1. For those whose H1 is up for renenwal, it says pending till H1 approved. Nobody who is out of H1 has been given nomination recently, probably you are the first. I can only hope that we people who are out of H1 will still receive it. but did AINP requested for documents from them or not to show I 797. as my visa has already expired but i have approval notice available. should i update them or wait  ? Please advice. Hello All,
Just wanted to update everyone that I have received my Nomination today. The funny thing is, although I gave my brother's address in Canada as my "Mailing Address" they sent the nomination to my address here in the U.S. The date nomination was issued on is 11/20/2009, but the postal stamp indicates that, they mailed it out on 12/10/2009. I don't what caused the delay.
