hs2501,

I am expecting the document request anytime soon....end of this month or early next month.
My file reached Alberta on 5/10/2009.
NOC: 2174
Most  of the guys are getting doc request after 8 month..some 9 months.
So I am guessing I might get  doc request any time soon......I am having my finger crossed on this one.
What about u?
When did AINP receive your application?

Thanks,

BJ

My AINP application will be put on pending as my H1B has gone for renewal.  Sad

I received an email from the officer working on my case saying that they will keep my application pending till I send my H1B approval.

Suri.

I am in a similar situation, except that I have not been asked for documents yet. My H1B expires at the end of the year, and I have applied for renewal. I suppose they could issue the nomination if my number comes up before the end of the year.  In your case, has your H1B already expired?

Thanks and good luck.

All the Civil Engineers who got their Nominations,

Are you a P.E. ? I am asking you this question beacuse I have a feeling that they are issuing nominations only to P.E.s. I have taken my test in Oct and awaiitng results. The friend of mine who got his nomiation applied after about 10 days after I did, got his file number after mine and even req. for documents a day after I did, but he got his nomination on Nov-29th and I'm still waiting. He is a P.E., and I'm not (yet). Do you think that is playing a part in decision making?

I have recd delayed Nomination bcoz they asked for 797.  I had a issue in my 797 and sent the documents on 11/08/2009.

I have few questions:  1) Is Live scan for Fbi is being accepted.  Anybody in VA has used Live scan facility?  If yes how many days did it take?
2) any exp with DC Embassy for PCC.  Suggest the procedure

SAVA: I dont think they take into PE as consideration.  Bcoz even i am working towards PE and waiting for my PE Results of October.  U will get u r nomination soon.  Dont worry.

Sava,

Good question.  I was a PE in civil engineering at the time of application back a year ago.  I got my nomination on Nov. 28, 2009 without request of additional documents.  Even this true, you are going to get it soon once you pass your PE exam.  Good luck.

I don't agree.  If everybody get their nomination and leave this thread, how can you know their detailed info?  As far as I know there is no other threads on PCC, FBI or CIC.  I got my nomination and come back to this thread often to get additional info regarding PCC and FBI, and answer questions from other people as well.

the

I totally agree. This is "H1B - Alberta PNP File Number / Certificate Timeline" thread so we should only stay up to that. I understand if you have any PCC, FBI or CIC question please use other threads or create a new one. Many of us comes to this thread for any info about time line of the file # and nomination certificates.

Totally agree.... i have received no nomination yet but lately AINP has become active so want to be prepared for the next step....so even i came looking for some info to this thread but seems few members are not ready to discuss "What next" after nomination or Additional documents requirement - and as you said there was no thread discussing PCC, FBI etc ..thus, just started a thread today for that : Topic: H1-Alberta PNP-nominations NOV'09 and later+PCC, FBI,CIC application discussion!

Sava, I don't think so. I know someone who was also waiting for the results of his PE exams.. and he got his nomination by last week of November. He only passed his ainp application last July and no additional info was ever requested from him. Maybe they based the approval from his qualifications because he's been practicing his profession for 30+ years outside US.
