Hi yofeihong
They are asking for every body for additional documents to test wheter we are still on H1 or not if so they want to keep reject the application which we applied earlier and provide nomination to fellow applicants who are in H1 thats it.

They are not asking everybody. I have not seen a single case for document request for NOC 2173.
What occupation is NOC 2173?

File numbers are alloted based upon sequence of applications.

Thanks...

You should find the list of members who received doc-request/nomination under this thread. It is often updated by members here, but here is the direct link to the one recently updated:
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/h1b-alberta-pnp-file-number-certificate-timeline-t12089.0.html;msg178994#msg178994

You'll also find the link to H1-B SRS application timeline system in my message signature box (at the end of this message, too). When you open the site, click "AINP time line tracker" and you'll see forum members' timeline.

Anyway, AINP seems to be issuing nominations based on applicants' NOC code and application date. Let us know if you see any trend in those lists.

It is pretty strange to see, my file# is 20xx, but I have not heard anything yet, while I see people with 25xx even got the nomination, Anyone knows in what sequence we are suppose to get the request for more documents?

It is probably because of your NOC code. The majority of applicants has IT-related NOC (probably more than 70-80%), so non-IT applicants tend to receive doc-request/nomination relatively sooner compared to IT applicants.

the other day when I was talking over the phone with AG, he said he will be giving a holla to the ministry on improving job prospects in Alberta especially for south asians, not sure if he got a chance to speak with them yet due to his busy schedule and the amount of time he spends on this forum helping other folks for obtaining a PR in his province.

Albertagovernor,

How is the job scenario in Alberta now. Since you are already in Alberta, I thought of asking you

Chinga Cowa Banga

oh yes rezendgi and me are regularly in touch on the phone. i told him not to worry much and he will get the nomination. so he does not write many post these days as he is relaxed and waiting for his nomination.

job prospects are definately improving. sales are improving and that means the people are spending. looks like Canada economy will bounce back faster than US. also canada financial were the strongest compared to rest of the nation during the big dips. considering all these factors the nominations have started again. i have three 6 friends/relatives who have applied under 2171 and one of them got their nomination last week.
