I dont see folks using Livescan - I keep reading about FP cards and the snail mail process in these forums. Is Livescan result not accepted by CIC? I have the card at the police station, they also take my fingerprints :-D

Out of the 3 states I need PCC from, only SC offers LiveScan. However, they say that the certificate can only be requested via paper copy. They returned my cert within a week. I am not complaining. I guess it depends on the state you are dealing with.

hello All,
I am a new entrant into the AINP process, I have applied under new process (no pre-assessment). My app was received via fedex on Feb 27th and I'm aware of the 2 month time, so I will wait very patiently until I hear from AINP guys about the file #
Just wanted to add to the flow in this thread, I will keep u folks posted!

that is what I am thinking.
No one has got the nomination recently. I do not doubt that AINP is freezed. Maybe, they are waiting for some directions like what the CIC was doing to FSW this time in 2008. I hope finally we all can pull through.

The New process under AINP was to apply directly without an invitation and maintain H1 status until a 'Decision' is made.
The New process under CIC includes getting State PCCs in USA from all the states where you have lived for more than 6 months.
