NOC Code - 2132 (Mechanical Engineer)
Application sent : 10 MArch 2009
File # : xxxxxx-2219
File # Received : Aug 4, 2009
Docment Request Date : Nov 18, 2009, then again on 23 Nov 2009 , I was asked which city I intend to reside
Nomination Date is :  24 Nov 2009

And Today Dec 4 2009 I got the most awaited brown packet in mail.

Thanks to all of you for this wonderful forum. I always felt at home and  taling and sharing info with you guys gave me confident and a feeling that I am not alone in the race..........Special thanks to vsrao, jasper, AG, Manny,Anoop , Sonu etc...........for doing a great work and some entertainment too....

hey guys!! The long wait is over...I too got my approval notification today. The Alberta Govt. had asked for the recent pay stubs and
I- 94 on the 19th Novemeber. I forwarded the information on the 23th November and here....exactly after 10days...Hip Hip Hurray!!!!!** Bhangara pao aur aage vaste tayar ho jao**

Applied for Pre-Assessment  ----> 12/31/2008
File Number                 ----> 11XX
File Date                   ----> 03/XX/2009
Document Received date      ----> 11/20/2009
Nomination Date             ----> 12/04/2009


Could any one help me with Indian PCC!!!!
Is it required to have a valid VISA to apply for Indian PCC? Because my VISA got expired in Sep'09.

As long as you have valid I-797 you should be fine

No news yet, May be international mails take a while to reach destination. But we shd call and check again on decesion status. I was trying ,but didn't get thru. I am in similar situation as you guys in. My appln was received before Feb 19th 2009 under old process,buy now I am out of H1 status.

Let me know if any of you in similar situation hear anything from AINP.But again I wud sterss to cal them on status.

I am some what same like your case with the exception of New Processes but yours is Old Processes.

I don't know what would happen ?

My application reached : Jan 26 2009
Application Receipt Date: March 9 2009
Receipt of Application by Email: April 27th 2009
Request for Document: 25th Nov 2009
Sent requested document by Email stating moving to India : 26th Nov 2009
Moved back to India: 28th Nov 2009

I haven't sent any request so far about my application status. Since yours(grewals) and mine case is more or less similar I am hoping if something great happens to you, that should happen to me too :-)

That's what I am trying to find out too. I am out of H1B status and got request for documents on November 19th, but I haven't heard anything. My application reached before Feb 19th so I am hoping that they issue my nomination

Most of the people who have got request for additional documents were only give 1 day to respond, You got 2 days, Can you post your program officer name just wondering whether time line to submit doc relied on program officer?
